Watch It Wednesday Part 18
This was a pretty successful Watch It Wednesday week with only one
show on the list I deemed as a skip (And I’m sure it comes as no surprise
that it was a love story. Lol) Scroll on down to find your next binge!
.
.
Keep Breathing WATCH
.
.
This survival show might be a little slow moving, but the way you will go
through episodes is not. Once I started it I had to keep going until
I finished the entire series. Definitely one to add to the watch list.
.
The Most Hated Man on the Internet WATCH
.
.
This documentary had me completely flabbergasted. I don’t know how someone
could do the things talked about in this documentary let alone not feel an
ounce of remorse for any of it. His website literally ruined lives and for what? Money
and so he could get a "good" laugh? I swear some people are just trash
and I wish they would have locked him up for the rest of his life and put pictures
of him up on the walls of the prison. Maybe then he would have gotten a few
unsolicited passes like his victims.
.
Car Masters: Rust to Riches WATCH
.
.
All these car shows are pretty much the same, buuuuuut I would be lying
if I said I didn’t enjoy each and every one. What can I say? I’m a car girl and seeing
the literal works of art Gotham Garage creates in their shop is unreal. Maybe someday
when I am rich and famous I will pay them a visit. lol
.
Street Food USA WATCH
.
.
This food show is different from others in the way that it really focuses
on the stories of the people behind the food and that was something I really
appreciated. It was crazy to see how a lot of these vendors and business
owners started from nothing or started with just a small little dream and now
have successful thriving businesses. Absolutely love it.
.
Purple Hearts SKIP
.
.
Oh man was this movie bad. *gag* The acting was no bueno, the music was
not catchy with lackluster lyrics, and the love story happened in the flip of
a switch. Honestly I think this movie could have been good had they just spent more
time on the scam part of the marriage and showed them falling in love as more of a
progression like in The Proposal rather than them wanting nothing to do
with each other one minute and then literally having sex in the next.
.
Wedding Season WATCH
.
.
Yo…Purple Hearts…..this is how you do a scam relationship to real relationship
story! This love story was more believable and so much more enjoyable to watch
than the one in Purple Hearts in my opinion. I also really enjoyed the
comedy in it. I actually found myself smiling throughout the movie rather
than sneering which is quite the feat for a love story considering how much I hate love right now.
.
The Sandman WATCH
.
.
I watched the trailer for this show and honestly thought it looked a little too
strange for me. However, it was the number 1 show on the top ten list so I had to give
it a go. I’m six episodes in now. While I admit that this show is definitely strange
and has some out there aspects/moments it’s not enough to make me want to stop
watching and instead is what really holds my attention. Also, I am convinced that one
of the best sounds I have ever heard is Lord Morpheus’ deep and raspy accented
voice. If they can make a character with the name Amy in one of the
next episodes that he has to talk to well, that would be great. Hahaha
.
Uncoupled WATCH
.
.
Netflix suggested this show to me at exactly the right time. I had never heard
of it before, but after just going through a breakup myself this show was
exactly what I needed. I literally binged watched the entire first season
in one sitting and now I need season 2 to get here ASAP!
.
Uncharted WATCH
.
.
As a Marvel movie lover I knew the second I saw Tom Holland on the movie poster I
needed to watch this and I can say, without bias, that I was not disappointed. This
movie had some great comedy and action scenes making for a very enjoyable
movie experience and I really hope there is a sequel as they
hinted at at the end of the movie.
.
Trainwreck: Woodstock '99 WATCH
.
.
I think anyone who decides to put on a festival has to be out of their dang
minds. I mean don’t get me wrong…I enjoy festivals. In fact, Coachella and
Austin City Limits are on my list of ones I want to go to some day and had I been
older than 4 when this Woodstock festival happened you can bet I would have
tried to go to it as well. However, putting on a festival like this one at this scale with
the lineup they chose and thinking that it would be different from Woodstock ‘94, that
it wouldn’t come with many issues is just plain ignorant. Great and interesting
documentary and I could not believe half of the things they reported happening
at the festival. Seriously no better way to describe this festival
than an absolute trainwreck. People are crazy.
