Not long after we walked through the doors we were led to a small

two person table in a cozy room just off the main dining area.

The space featured only three small tables similar to ours and

offered a great amount of seclusion which added to a more

relaxed dining experience that felt like we were eating

dinner at home with personal chefs.

.

Choosing what we wanted to eat was difficult since there were

so many good sounding options on the menu.

.

.

However, eventually Kelly decided to order the bruschetta for an appetizer

.

.

and to stick with her gut choice of The Pie (meatloaf topped with mashed potatoes and cheese)

with steamed broccoli for her main meal.

.

.

I was torn between the bbq pork ribeye and the

Kottbullar (Swedish meatballs) and ended up choosing the meatballs.

.

.

I also ordered the potato skins for an appetizer.

Crew Review:

.

Kelly: "The pie was an 8/10. It could have used a little more

seasoning with the meat but still really good. Our waitress

was amazing. She did a really good job. Bruschetta was

good 6-7/10. The goat's cheese was really good, but the

bruschetta would have been better if it had been assembled

and then toasted so the tomatoes would have been toasted

as well. It tasted good just a little odd."

Lindsborg continues to be a town full of surprises. Surprises

which now include this restaurant. The unique details inside

lean heavily into the town's Swedish roots and it is full of

homey details that make it a great place to sit, relax, and eat...

which we did for at least 2 hours. The service here was also

phenomenal. Definitely some of the best service I have had

from a restaurant for awhile. Finally, the food. As I mentioned

earlier we both had a difficult time deciding what we wanted

to eat, however that certainly wasn't due to a lack of good

options. In fact after my food I am convinced that there

isn't a bad thing on the menu to order. The Swedish meatballs

easily rivaled Ikea's and the sauce over them and the egg noodles

was the perfect creamy texture. I also enjoyed the potato skins however I do wish they would

have been a little warmer temperature-wise. Other than that it was a great dinner.
