Indian Point Floating Cafe - Branson, Missouri

There are a lot of gimmicky restaurants in Branson boasting insanely large food portions and wild decorations. However, a cafe in Indian Point might have one of the coolest “gimmicks” of them all. To get to this cafe you have to channel your inner Peter and walk on water, or I guess take a stroll down a wooden pier (or drive up in your boat) as this cafe is literally floating on Table Rock Lake! This is Indian Point Floating Cafe.

THE FOOD

Beau ordered the kids pancake meal which ended up coming out in a cute Mickey Mouse shape!

Cass ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy with a side of hashbrowns.

I decided to try out their new cinnamon roll pancakes with sides of scrambled eggs and bacon.

The SECOND you begin your walk from the, admittedly slightly crazy and packed, parking lot up to the cafe you can feel the chill vibes radiating through the air. On our walk up we were greeted by soooo many ducks, fish, and turtles that it took us way longer to reach the doors than it should have, but we just couldn’t stop watching them swim around! (Beau later got to feed all of them off the side of the cafe!) We opted to sit outside in the back near where all the boats dock and it was definitely the right choice. While the inside is cute the outside let’s you enjoy a little snippet of lake life and provides the best atmosphere. Our food was all delicious. Cass said she loved the homemade rolls and could eat her weight in the biscuits and gravy and I definitely think the cinnamon roll pancakes should be a permanent menu option as they were pretty solid as well. We also thought it was pretty affordable which is always a massive plus! Definitely a place we would return to in a heartbeat!
