Wichita Brewing Co - Wichita, Kansas

After a long day of shopping in Wichita we found ourselves pulling in to the parking lot of Wichita Brewing Company in search of some much needed food and pizza for the Beau Beau. Luckily for us this place, with its fun outdoor decor and murals, gave us exactly what we needed and a tasting experience we certainly won’t forget! Scroll on down to read more!

Cass and Kels got a beer flight before landing on one to have with dinner. The flight included: Raspberry Jam, Berlemoner, Mexican Lager, and Blonde.

The Raspberry Jam was the winner for both!

Beau Beau’s dinner choice

Cajun Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza

Stuffed Grilled Cheese Pizza

Mississippi Pot Roast Pizza

Crew Reviews:

Cass: 8/10

I would rate the cheese sticks around the same as Gambino’s breadsticks (which is high praise) as the flavor of these was just as good. Definitely recommend getting a flight before landing on a beer since all are made there in house and it gives you a chance to really find one you like. For me personally I thought the raspberry jam beer was really good! The place is not necessarily not family friendly, but maybe not suitable for young kids just based on the vibe and slight chaos. However, the staff was great and I would go back again! Oh and my ranking of the pizzas we tried: Mississippi pot roast was the best followed by the Cajun chicken bacon ranch and then finally the grilled cheese stuffed pizza. (Husband Ethan agreed with these rankings as well as he got to try the leftovers.)

Kelsey: 9/10

My favorite was the Cajun chicken bacon ranch pizza followed by the Mississippi pot roast and then the grilled cheese stuffed pizza. I thought the cheese sticks were pretty good as well and I liked that you can get a flight of beer. Do also agree with Cass that the raspberry jam beer was good and the best of the flight we tried. Also the bathrooms were really cool. lol Would go back again as well!

I’m not going to lie to y’all, walking in to the low lit atmosphere of Wichita Brewing Company, I was a little skeptical we had made the right choice for dinner. However it didn’t take long for this hole-in-the-wall vibe brewery to change my mind. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic. She was sweet, knew the menu well, and was very accommodating. Then the food arrived and while I don’t quite think I could put the breadsticks at the same level as Gambino’s they definitely are close contenders. (Man, what a Midwest thing to say…comparing breadsticks to Gambino’s lol) For our pizza choices we decided to really sample the menu by getting one we figured was a safe option (Cajun Chicken Bacon Ranch), one that was unique but not totally crazy (Grilled Cheese Stuffed Pizza), and then one that was pretty out there and never seen before (Mississippi Pot Roast). My rankings for these pizzas do vary from the other girls’ and are: Cajun Chicken Bacon Ranch (although I do think more ranch is a must. dang….my Midwest is really coming out in this review lol), then the Grilled Cheese Stuffed Pizza, and then finally the Mississippi Pot Roast (which was definitely….interesting lol). Overall this place exceeded my expectations and I definitely would go back again!
