Friday Eve Flashback - February 2024
Life has been crazy lately with ya girl here taking on way more than she
probably should, but honestly what else is new. lol Hope you enjoy reading about my February!
.
.
What I've Been Up To
.
I kicked off the month of love with two of favorite humans as they
helped me discover my new favorite grocery place, Aldi's.
"You've never shopped at Aldi's before?!"
No, but now I know what I have been missing out on! I haven't
gone grocery shopping anywhere else since!
.
.
The first Sunday of the month is always reserved for Kelly and
I's live book club discussion and in February it was for the
book, Killers of a Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn.
.
.
Once again we failed at our craft project for the video involving
old records and learned together that you
cannot simply cut vinyl records with a pair of scissors.
.
.
This year I completed my first Valloween decorate with me both in my car and in my house.
.
.
Pretty sure I am going to be leaving my car decorated this way for awhile.
.
February also brought with it Mardi Gras and I decided this would
be the first year I would open up my normal Fat Tuesday celebration
to friends and family. Definitely considering making this a new annual thing!
.
.
A few days after the Mardi Gras party I got to do more
celebrating, but this time for Galentine's Day with Cass and Beau!
We hit up Barnes and Noble, Chick-Fil-A, and got some Crumbl Cookies for dessert!
.
.
I made another trip to the big city with Kelly not long after Cass
and I's Galentine's Day celebration for a book store warehouse sale.
Unfortunately we didn't find too many books in the
warehouse sale, but Kelly walked away with some from the
main store and afterwards we had some delicious burgers.
.
.
February also marked the return of my blonde hair!

.
Finally in February Justin and I went on another adventure
for our secret project where we mined for salt, ate burgers, and
journeyed to space. Stay tuned this month for the big project reveal!
.
.
OH! I almost forgot. I also was finally approved for an
Amazon Storefront so now I can create lists of my
favorite products/things I recommend for you to shop from!

Will there ever be a month where this in not on my favorites list?
Probably not. lol This is seriously the ONLY show I have been
watching. It is my top comfort show and with news dropping
about a potential season 16 return I definitely won't be stopping anytime soon.
.
Aldi's
.
.
As I mentioned earlier I am seriously in LOVE with this store. I can get
almost a whole month's worth of groceries for under $200
which is something I NEVER thought possible.
.
BOOKS!
.
I have been reading books like a madwoman lately already making
it halfway to my Goodreads goal of 50 books for the year. AND
WE ARE ONLY TWO MONTHS IN! WOOT WOOT! Unfortunately, not
all of them have been winners, but here are a few that
have been my favorites so far this year.
.
Anatomy: A Love Story by Dana Schwartz
.
.
How To Sell A Haunted House by Grady Hendrix
.
.
The Outsider by Stephen King
.
.
.
How was your February? Did you do anything special for
Galentine's/Valentine's Day? What were some things you loved during the month of love?
