My Kitchen Chaos Adventures
The chaos persists. Another round of recipe testing and making messes in the kitchen is here!

Healthy Hamburger Helper - Half Baked Harvest (@halfbakedharvest on Instagram)
While I will admit that the processed box Hamburger Helper holds a very special place in my heart, (it is straight up childhood in a box y’all lol) this recipe from Half Baked Harvest is a pretty good healthier substitute. Overall it had good flavor and I liked how you got a hidden serving of vegetables thanks to the addition of the zucchini. (Because of course if it is green it is not for me, unless hidden beyond recognition. lol) My only suggestion is to not make this meal in the crockpot unless if you maybe cook the hamburger first before throwing it in as mine didn’t seem to cook thoroughly enough.
.
Would make again? Maaaaaaybe, but probably not.

Cowboy Butter Pasta - Aubrey Brianna (@aubrizzlemynizzle on tiktok)
This dish has got a lot of (say with a Southern accent) “oil” going on with it, but the flavor was pretty amazing. I INHALED each bowl (oh yeah I went back for seconds) even with the bit of a spicy kick it had.
.
Would make again? If I was feeding more than just me most definitely. I wasn’t a huge fan of the leftovers.

Cajun Sausage Pasta - The Thirsty Feast
I was craving a good sausage pasta and Google brought me to this recipe that ended up making one absolutely FANTASTIC dish. It was full of the Cajun flavor I love thanks to the andouille which was balanced out quite nicely by the creamy pasta. I could not stop going back for more!

Would make again? YES. 10000% yes.

Crockpot Creamy Chicken Pasta - Cooking in the Midwest (@cookinginthemidwest on Tiktok)
This might have been one of my favorite chicken pasta dishes as of late. AND the best part, being a crockpot meal, it was suuuuuper easy to make! I even was able to add in a hidden serving of veggies by throwing in some shredded zucchini!
.
Would make again? Absolutely!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Overnight Oats - doosifit (@doosifit)
Hard to go wrong with a chocolate peanut butter combination! These overnight oats had fantastic flavor and were SUUUUPER filling. My only note for next time is to at least half the recipe as this made a loooot of servings for just me.

Air Fryer Potatoes - Cooking in the Midwest
Did someone say potatoes?! You know I am down to try any and all ways to eat them! I do think this is better as a side option than a full meal (not that that stopped me from eating this entire bowl for a meal lol), but definitely one to keep in the arsenal!

Bang Bang Chicken and Rice - Makayla Thomas
This dish has a BIG spice kick to it but y’all the flavor of the bang bang sauce is, well, banging. Even though it left my mouth on fire I absolutely LOVED it.

Gumbo - Binging With Babish
Another year celebrating Mardi Gras with my FAVORITE Binging with Babish recipe! This recipe delivers every time with a flavorful gumbo that has just a hint of spice that will no doubt send your mind to streets of New Orleans. Highly recommend giving this one a go!
.
Would make again? ABSOLUTELY.

No Recipe Required
These are things I made all on my own without a recipe to follow.
.
Steak (seasoned with the Kinders buttery steak seasoning), a side of green beans, and leftover air fryer potatoes.
I understand the hype with the Kinders seasonings! Still have yet to master the art of pan frying steak, but would eat this again for sure.
.
Pork chorizo breakfast burritos with cheesy scrambled eggs and the frozen potatoes O’Brien from Dillons.
Still need to work on my chorizo cooking skills, but overall these were pretty good and I would make and eat them again!
