Watch It Wednesday

It has been a hot minute since I yapped at you about shows and movies I have been watching lately so I hope you enjoy this extended version of Watch It Wednesday! Also feel free to let me know what shows and movies you have been watching and your thoughts on anything I have talked about in this article!

.

.

Fallout (Amazon Prime)

I was not expecting to fall in love with this show as much as I did. From episode 1 to the cliffhanger season finale of season I was HOOKED and I cannot wait for the next season to drop. Every single episode is action packed and I never knew what to expect! It was SO SO GOOD!

.

Wuthering Heights (THEATERS)

The trailers lied to you. This movie is not the smutty romance film you might have expected but rather a movie that will rip your heart out by the end and left me ugly crying in the theater. However, with that said, I did really enjoy this movie. The visuals and the soundtrack were sooo good and the cast. Oh the cast did an incredible job.

.

Scream 6 (Paramount+)

During my scream movie marathon I FINALLY watched Scream 6! This one was definitely different from all of the other movies in the franchise, especially as it is the only movie without Sidney, BUT it is still a freaking amazing movie. I absolutely loved it.

.

Scream 7 (THEATERS)

I of course went and saw this movie the day it came out in theaters and all I have to say is…AMAZING. The return of some of the OG cast members, the story, the action, the new cast members, GHOSTFACE. Ugh it was all so so good and anyone who says differently is wrong.

.

The Bondsman (Amazon Prime)

I would say give this show a watch, but I don’t want you to end up getting too attached like I did only to find out it was cancelled after season 1. AND WITH A BIT OF A CLIFF HANGER NO LESS. This show was far from perfect with a decent amount of cheese and some CGI that probably could have been a little bit better, BUT I still enjoyed it a lot.

.

Bridgerton - Season 4 (Netflix)

This season is definitely in the running for my favorite season of Bridgerton even though Benedict pissed me off for like 98% of it. He did finally redeem himself towards the end, but man he was really testing me. lol

.

Gen V (Amazon Prime)

This spin off set in the world of The Boys is definitely one you need to add to your watchlist. The gore, the action, the drama, the “are-they-really-going-to-go-there?” “I-can’t-believe-they-are-going-there” moments make it an absolutely amazing show.

.

Yellowjackets (Paramount +)

This show starts off sooooooo slow and truthfully I almost stopped watching it. However, I stuck with it and by about episode 4 I knew it was the right decision. This show is full of WTF moments, but like a bad car accident you just can’t look away. I am so mad I have to wait now for season 4! Definitely a must watch show!

.

Leprechaun (Peacock)

What better day to watch this movie for the first time than St. Patrick’s Day?! I went into this movie with pretty low expectations, which truthfully I think worked in my favor as it is pretty cheesy, but I still really enjoyed my time with it! It was fun getting to see a young Jennifer Aniston and of course Warwick did a fantastic job as the leprechaun. Definitely will be continuing on with the rest of the movies. (Leprechaun in the Hood has me the most intrigued. lol)

.

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives - Season 4 (Hulu)

Honestly I think this was my least favorite season so far. This show is the secret lives of Mormon WIVES not their husbands and toxic exes. I was so over seeing all the men on my screen, ESPECIALLY JORDAN AND DAKOTA. It just made me mad and I wish they would have included more scenes with the girls. Speaking of the girls, I never thought I would ever hear myself say this, but I am so team Whitney. Also Miranda is hilarious and I love her. Mayci, Mikayla, and Jessi are great. Jen….get a grip. And Demi? So glad you are gone.

.

Mamma Mia (DVD)

My first time watching this iconic movie after finding the DVD for $1 at the thrift store and y’all it was so much fun! I already knew a good chunk of the songs and it was just so fun to watch the movie they all came from and sing along! I was a dancing queen right along with them!

.

The Pitt - Season 2 (HBO Max)

My only complaint with this season is that it had to come to an end. I am seriously so in love with this show and it continues to be the BEST medical show….hell almost even the best show….that I have ever seen. I like how it isn’t afraid to venture into touchy topics and I liked the spotlight it shown on mental health awareness this season in particular. So excited for season 3 to come out in January!

.

Something Very Bad is Going to Happen (Netflix)

This show had me SAT from episode 1 till the end. I seriously cannot remember the last time I binged a show so hard! I think it is best to go into this one not knowing anything at all and just riding those amazing dark vibes on through. Seriously watch this show ASAP. You will not regret it.

.

Super Mario Galaxy (Drive-In)

This was my first time watching one of the Super Mario movies all the way through and overall I thought it was pretty cute! It had some moments that made me giggle and really just brought an overwhelming urge to play the game.

.

Project Hail Mary (Drive-In)

The second feature film and the reason for the drive-in trip to begin with! I do think that this movie is better than the book and I cannot wait to watch it again! It was hilarious and heartbreaking and just an overall masterpiece of a movie.

.

.

YouTube Streams

I watch YouTube almost more than any streaming service out there so of course I HAVE to give it it’s own section. So here have been my current obsessions!

.

Gavin Reads It All

.

I think it is safe to say that Gavin has become my favorite YouTuber. Not just favorite booktuber, but overall favorite YouTuber. A big statement…I know. But let me tell you, his videos were the only thing keeping me from spiraling out of control. Feeling his passion for reading, seeing his adorable cats Ash and Tobu, watching as he goes on fun adventure vlogs to ghost hunt in castles, read the High School Musical books while at the resort the movie was filmed at, visit Sleepy Hollow, and more truly just brought me so so much joy. He is just so much fun to watch and listen to and so insanely creative. Ugh just go watch his videos. NOW. lol

.

Nicole Burgess

.

I took a little break from watching Nicole’s videos as I was making my way through all of Gavin’s, but I made it back to her channel this month and got caught up on all I had missed! Still absolutely loving the content she is putting out including the fitness and grocery hauls, but also her new thrift with me series. In fact, she was my inspiration for getting back into thrifting and starting my own series! (You can check out my thrifting videos here: )

.

TFIL

.

I am still watching this crazy group of friends travel to every single country in the world. The last one I watched they were in Azerbaijan which I will admit was a country I hadn’t heard of. I never was great at world geography. Definitely am still absolutely LOVING the series though. I feel like I am truly learning a ton about different cultures and places around the world, am having a blast watching them, and am slowly adding things to my travel bucket list.

.

Sam and Colby

.

To no one’s surprise I am still consuming Sam and Colby videos as SOON as they are posted which in my opinion is not often enough!

.

Hello Crawlers - A Dungeon Crawler Carl Podcast

.

I just recently started listening to this podcast over on YouTube that is a read along for one of the best book series ever written (and my current OBSESSION) Dungeon Crawler Carl and honestly I am loving it so far. The guys hosting the podcast make a lot of great points and I like their banter and comradery with one another. It is a good time and highly recommend it if you are also a fan of DCC.

.

LeanBeefPatty

.

I found Patty through a sweet gym apparel brand called Raskol apparel and have finally made my way over to her YouTube channel. So far I have only watched a couple of her videos, but I did really enjoy them! She is not only a beast in the gym, but also just seems like an all around cool person and I definitely will be watching more!

.

Mythical Kitchen

.

I ventured back to this channel after seeing that Matthew Lillard was guest starring in one of their episodes of “Last Meal” and being recommended another video of theirs that featured LeanBeefPatty! I have ZERO bad things to say about this channel. If you love food….like…at all….you NEED to check it out.

.

Trixie Mattel

.

Trixie is another creator that is a must watch the second she drops a new video. I just love her so much and think she is absolutely hilarious.

.
