Watch It Wednesday!

It has been a HOT minute since I have posted a Watch It Wednesday article, but I am excited to be bringing you one today! Hope you enjoy hearing about what I have been watching!

.

Hazbin Hotel - WATCH

This is a show that was recently recommended to me by a friend and y’all I binged the entire first season and whatever episodes were out in season 2 (yet another show that is doing the one episode a week release schedule *cries in binge watcher*) in like 2 days. It is sooo funny, entertaining, and the music in it is fan-freakin-tastic. 1000/10

IT: Welcome to Derry - WATCH

This is hands down one of my favorite shows that I am currently watching and honestly, might be one of my favorite shows of all time. And I am saying that after only 4 episodes. It started off leaving my jaw on the floor in the first 10 minutes and I have been loving every single minute since then. It has so many amazing horror moments in it, I love the vibes of the time period it is set in, and getting to see a little backstory into Pennywise is so much fun. DEFINITE MUST WATCH.

.

Chad Powers - WATCH

Since Glen Powell is my second husband (Jensen will forever be number one, sorry not sorry), I of course watch any and everything that man is in which is how I found myself sat in front of my screen watching Chad Powers on Hulu. I will admit that the first episode was a tiiiiiny bit underwhelming, BUT I stuck with it and now I am absolutely in love with it. It is cheesy and leans more into the stupid funny realm, but also features some good heartwarming moments and has me LOCKED IN. Now, I NEED them to confirm a season 2 or I will rage.

.

Black Phone 2 - WATCH

I absolutely LOVED the first Black Phone movie and the sequel had been on my radar since the second they announced it was in the works. SO I took myself out on a little date Halloween night to see the movie in theaters. While I don’t think this sequel was as good as the first Black Phone (how many sequels are anymore though, am I right?) I still very much enjoyed this movie. It was super entertaining, albeit a little weird at times, and they definitely weren’t afraid to go to dark places. There also were some decent jump scares for the easily scared. You could really see the Joe Hill-ness of it all which might not be my favorite in books, but definitely was perfect for this movie.

.

Frankenstein - WATCH WATCH WATCH

Oh Guillermo del Toro you have created an absolute masterpiece with this one. Truly. This movie fully embodied the heart of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein story and you could feel and see the grand amount of love and passion that went into the making of this film. It was visually stunning, the cast was phenomenal, and it was an absolutely beautiful journey from start to finish.

.

Dancing With the Stars - WATCH

After a lonnnnnng hiatus from watching DWTS I returned this season for the insanely stacked cast and have been loving every single minute of it. I forgot just how much I love this show and the amount of joy it brings me and I am so happy I started watching again. I am just sad that next week is the finale! Also….side note SUCK IT WHITNEY AND GOOD RIDDANCE.

.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives (Season 3) - WATCH

I love me a good trash reality show and this one has snaked its way into my top three favorites. Now with that said this latest season was a tiiiiiny bit underwhelming for me. I feel like we spent waaaay too much time on the backstory of what happened between Demi, Jessie, and Marciano, but other than that another fantastically terrible (in a good way) season that reminded me just how thankful I am to have such a boring drama free life. Definitely excited for the reunion coming out in December!

.

Regretting You - WATCH

I know. I KNOW. Not only am I coming to you and telling you that a romance movie is worth the watch, but a Colleen Hoover movie adaptation at that! Someone check the sky for pigs. No but seriously, I went to see this movie in theaters with Cass and y’all this movie had me all up in my feels. It was cute, it was funny, it made me tear up. And I mean who doesn’t love to see Dave Franco?! Overall, a great time was had by all and while I refuse to read the book (or recommend it to anyone for that matter) I will say that this movie is definitely worth your time.

.

Gavin Reads It All - WATCH

I recently stumbled across this booktuber and have been binging his videos faster than he can put them out! Thankfully he has a big backlog of content! But seriously he is absolutely hilarious and I love all of his unique ideas and takes on the various different books he reads. Easily has taken over the number one spot as my favorite booktuber. (Sorry Lala)
